We are Lambdog Studios LLC, an indie studio from Southwest Ohio bringing you modern classics like you've never seen before. Colossal Kickoff is our debut title, born from an idea and a group of friends at Miami University. We're dedicated, multi-disciplined, and more than a little goofy. Our one and only goal is to create great games for everyone to enjoy.
Cory O’Brien is the president of Lambdog studios. On the development side of things, he is the primary audio designer, a gameplay programmer, and assisted with monster design. He has “definitely never made a single programming mistake.” Cory is from Cincinnati, Ohio and when not working can usually be found gigging with his band (he is cursed to be a bass player).
Jack Vineyard is a game developer for Lambdog Studios and is the Lead Designer for Colossal Kickoff. The game idea came to him in a dream and, from then, he knew it was his duty to create it. Additionally, he's worked on some core aspects of the game internally, such as programing the input system, developing monsters, and much more. Jack is from Cincinnati, Ohio and can often be found playing games in his free time, while still hopefully awaiting Silksong.
Ryan Golden is a managing partner and Artist at Lambdog studios. He is the teams primary 2d artist. Specializing in pixel art, his work ranges from character design, UI elements, and texture work. He is responsible for the 2d sprites seen in the game from the Human warriors to the Colossal Monsters. He also dabbles in a bit of voice work. "Ryan has not once missed a pixel in his sprites.....Never" Ryan is from Hudson, Ohio and is often spending hours playing Fighting games or gushing over retro pixel art.
William Howard is a managing partner, artist, and level designer for Lambdog Studios. This guy makes the 3d assets that make up the stages and assembles them into a functional scene for the game. Along with the decorating the virtual scene, he programs in functionality in as well, such as stage hazards and environmental effects. "Sleep is for after release." William originates from Middletown, Ohio. William likes 3d modeling rats and playing indie games.
Gabe Hardy-Fowler is a game developer at Lambdog Studios and the lead programmer for Colossal Kickoff. He has been involved in the implementation of many core game mechanics surrounding monsters, warriors, AI behavior, and more. The team has taken to calling him “The Wizard”, which he does not mind. From Findlay, Ohio, Gabe enjoys playing video games, guitar, and skateboarding in his free time.
Alex Lemmink is a game developer at Lambdog Studios and the UI/UX lead for Colossal Kickoff. While Alex has helped with playtesting and general programming, his main role in the development of Colossal Kickoff has been the functionality and design of the in-game menus and user interface. Alex is from Yorktown, Virginia. Outside of work, he can be found playing video games, snowboarding, and hiking trails.
Casey Topp serves as a collaborator with Lambdog Studios and as the Project Manager and Marketing Manager for Colossal Kickoff, in addition to supplementary programming and UI development (this job included creating this website!). His full-time career is in the world of creative tech and large-scale media installations, such as concerts and museums. In his free time he enjoys playing board games and card games, and writing blurbs about himself in the third person.
Elizabeth Becker (she/her) is a composer, arranger, orchestrator, and vocalist for film, games, and the stage. She is from Cincinnati, Ohio and now lives in Los Angeles, California as a freelancer. For this epic soccer game, she composed the music. Check out the original soundtrack in the game, or on all platforms!
